The Rise of Cloud Manufacturing: How Collaboration and Eco-Efficiency are Driving Success

Collaborative and eco-efficient manufacturing is an approach to industrial production that prioritizes collaboration and sustainability. This paradigm shift is a response to the challenges posed by the traditional manufacturing industry that relied on a hierarchical, closed system of production. It also tended to be inflexible and focused on short-term gains rather than long-term value creation. The traditional approach was characterized by:

  • A linear, take-make-waste approach that generated significant environmental impacts, including greenhouse gas emissions, pollution, and resource depletion
  • A lack of transparency, with manufacturers operating in isolation from their suppliers and customers.

Breaking Boundaries: An Interview with Sandeep Goel, MD of Moglix on the Power of Getting Uncomfortable

I had an almost instant smile on my face as the realisation dawned that Covid is now officially a thing of the past. The realization triggered a series of happy feelings – freedom, excitement, relief and above all finally “being normal”. And I reflected what a year it has been – 2022, a year of challenges and triumphs.

Uncovering the Advantages and Challenges of Quiet Hiring in Today`s Job Market

Experts at Gartner recently listed quiet hiring as one of the top workforce trends for 2023. According to Emily Rose McRae, Sr. Director of Research at Gartner, “Quiet hiring is when an organization acquires new skills without actually hiring new full-time employees.”

Employers are increasingly using data analytics, social media, and other tools to identify and attract the right candidates for their specific needs, rather than relying on generic job postings or mass hiring campaigns.
